My journey to candle making wasn’t some pick up hobby that I chose because it was a fad. It all started during track season, a time when I was filled with uncertainty. In the spring past, I enjoyed track season and looked forward to softball season. This year was different. I was constantly searching for peace and purpose, feeling the weight of indecision and doubt. I knew the Lord was preparing my heart for something far greater than I could’ve ever planned, I was just ready for it to get easier, you know?

During those moments of uncertainty, I found comfort through the simplicity of lighting candles and immersing myself in the Word of God. There was something so peaceful about the glow of the candle as His Truth washes over me. It was in those quiet moments that I could hear his voice more clearly. He was calling me to share His light and love in a way that could reach others, and it wasn’t long before he revealed how I was meant to do that. 

That’s when the idea for Everlasting Light Candle Co. was born. I knew I needed to create something that would not only bring warmth and light into peoples homes, but also carry the message of God’s everlasting light in love. Candles have always been a symbol of hope and I wanted to use them as a way to share the light of Christ in the dark, dark world we live in.

At Everlasting Light Candle Co. every candle is made with intention, prayer, and the desire to reflect God’s presence. We are founded on the beautiful truth found in Isaiah 60: 19 (KJV), which says, “the sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for the brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God be thy glory.” This verse is the foundation of everything we do. It reminds us that no matter how dark the world may seem, God’s light shines forever, guiding and sustaining us.

Our mission is to make every candle with God’s everlasting light and love. We believe that through each candle we create, His presence can fill a space, and remind people of His eternal goodness and peace. Whether you light a candle during your quiet time with the Lord or moments of reflection, our hope is that you feel His light surrounding you.

Starting this journey has been faith-driven and I am beyond grateful for the blessing of Everlasting Light Candle Co. I thank God for allowing me to start up this small business, in His name. My largest goal through Everlasting Light Candle Co. is to reach lost people, and introduce them to their Savior. I am humbled to have been chosen to be a vessel for the purpose of sharing God’s light and love. Our prayer with each and every candle is that His light will continue to shine in the lives of those we reach.
